What we do

After an initial telephone conversation with the family, we arrange for one of our scouts to observe the player in game conditions. Once we have evaluated hockey skills in game conditions and reviewed the player's academic talents, an in-person meeting is arranged to discuss the needs and goals of the player and the family.

NexxGeneration Hockey then uses its resources to determine how to best create a successful future for the player. The result is a written plan with options and alternatives, which is given to each family to guide them in their future decisions.

Available Services 

We provide consulting services at an affordable cost, in the form of two packages.

Basic Package

Includes all of the following:

1. In-Depth Needs Evaluation Through Telephone and In-Person Conversations with Player/Family

2. Evaluation of Player's Hockey Skills

3. Review of Player's Academic and Hockey Talents, as Well as Personal Interests

4.Coordination of Strategies (Player/Family)

5. Guidance on Development of Resume and Letters to Coaches

6. Assistance in the Development of Player's Personal Statement

7. Unbiased Assistance with Decision-making Process

8. Written Plan of Options/Time-line for Family 

Enhanced Collegiate Package

Includes all services in the Basic Package, plus:

1. Unlimited Access to a College Counselor from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (EST) through college placement

2. Professional Assistance With Up to Seven College Applications

3. Interview Preparation

4. Financial Aid Application and Scholarship/Award Review

5. Monitoring of Post-Placement Progress (follow-ups and counseling regarding academic and hockey issues through the completion of college are included)
